Golf Club - What You Should Know About It

In the earliest days of golf game, players used the clubs made by them. They carved the club heads by themselves and clubs were made of hard woods. Golf club is the main equipment in the golf game.

Club is the stick that is being used to hit the golf ball. Gold club have two main parts: shaft and club head. Shaft also includes the grip of the stick and club head is the part with which player hit the ball. It is made of wood.

There are four types of golf club: woods, putters, hybrids, irons.  All the clubs are different according to the angle and size of heads. Woods are to hit the ball from long distance to drive it to the hole. Woods have the large heads that player uses to hit the ball with a maximum club speed.

Iron club comes after the wood club. Iron is the more versatile club in all the clubs and it is being used for different types of shots.

Putter club has the loft not more than 10 degrees. They are being used to roll the ball across the hole. When the ball is near to the hole or the player tries to put the ball in the hole then player will use putter.

Hybrid is club that lies between wood and iron because it is designed in such a way to give long distance with the similarities of iron. Most hybrids can be used I the place of iron because hybrid is easier to hit the ball.

The important part of the golf club is the shaft of the club. The shaft is the stick of the club that has the grip at the edge to pick the club in a best way. It is made of metal or carbon fiber composite.

Club heads are attached at the bottom of the shaft. Every club head has the different angle and size to hit the ball according to the requirement of the game.
